Every tear will be wiped away in heaven!
What a promise! And Jesus can make this promise because His Words and fullness are absolute and current and holy and contain the richness of the authority of heaven. Jesus is eternal life – and there is a time coming when all our sorrows, difficulties, pain, and shortcomings will no longer exist because of our trust in Him today! We will reign with Jesus. And this future is worth living for now as we continue to follow and believe in our Lord and Savior, Jesus, despite what others my think. He has risen from the dead, and we have this assurance in our heart, mind, and soul. Jesus is the Lord of magnificence.
‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” – Revelation 21:4.
When we are having a hard time or in pain, remember this truth from our Lord Jesus. Allow it to help you and continue to choose to soldier on – trusting, hoping, and believing in the promises of Jesus. His Divine nature, it says in 2 Peter 1:4, works through us when we do; God’s power from heaven. It helps us gain strength for what we are facing, knowing deep in our hearts and minds that we are only encountering the temporary sufferings of this world. Something greater is coming that will dominate and wipe away our tears that Jesus won on the cross to give us – everlasting life.
“And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires” – 2 Peter 1:4.
