Album Cover Significance

My life is no longer built on sand. On the cover of “Keep Believing,” I might be sitting on the sand in the desert near San Diego. But now my life is built on believing in Jesus, the Son of God.

My husband Leo and I are Australians now living in California. I believed in Jesus for my good when He said, “Go,” and I sold everything I had and went with Leo and our three daughters. Today, I must keep believing in Jesus just as firmly as I did then. And as convincingly as I did from the start, when I first heard the Lord’s Voice and Jesus taught me the way to freedom. I am not without hope, and building on the temporary of this world, lost in my sins and part of the Devil’s trickery and schemes to destroy me.

Jesus is constantly orchestrating my life for good. So, I will be with Him forever in eternity, in His kingdom of righteousness in its fullness. We must keep believing in the Son of God.

Story Behind the Film Clip

Leo and I had the idea of filming “Keep Believing” in the desert, with me carrying a lantern to symbolize the light and great treasure we, as believers, carry with us every day of the gospel and Christ. We are to be the light in this dark world, to tell others about Jesus Christ. And we can only do this effectively when we keep believing, just as strongly as we did when we first believed, growing stronger or brighter until the perfect day of Christ’s return. (Proverbs 4:18)

Leo and I had no idea that the evening we were out there, filming this clip, was the actual night Jesus would have been betrayed to be crucified on the cross. It was a full moon, and as we looked up and saw it, we realized it marked the actual time. It gave the film clip a special glow and incredible significance. We are to keep believing as firmly as we did until that perfect day. For Jesus, Himself said – “Those who endure to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:14).

Leo and I were delighted and encouraged that Jesus had orchestrated our being out in the desert, filming this clip on the night evil betrayed Him to be crucified. It was our Heavenly Father’s plan, and Jesus knew His birth was for Him to become the source of Salvation. I pray that this little story encourages you to keep watch on all that Jesus, the Son of God, is doing in your life to encourage you to “Keep Believing” until the day you see Him with your eyes! When your faith reaps the eternal life, He came to give.
