Album Cover Significance
We are to look up to the heavens to where Jesus is. He rose from the dead and is now seated in all authority and power. And we will become like tall, strong sequoia trees in this world when we keep our eyes on Him.
The Lord Jesus gave me this vision of a tall tree with the perspective of looking up its trunk as if looking up to where its strength resides. I’ve been to Sequoia National Park in California. They are truly spectacular. But even these magnificent trees will die; bushfires have even taken some. They are not indestructible like Christ, who is in us who believe. We will live on, and the message of this album is to “Stay Free.” We cannot lose our Salvation over petty and insignificant things, though the devil is fierce in his efforts.

I wrote the song “Stay Free” in Australia, but I recorded it in California after Jesus had asked me to sell everything I owned and move there. It speaks a message to me – it doesn’t matter where you live or whatever stage in life you are at, we cannot lose our faith and trust in Jesus, our Savior and Lord. Every day, our dependency on Christ must be explicit.
How foolish can you be? After starting your new lives in the Spirit, why are you now trying to become perfect by your own human effort?
