Rejoice
The EP Rejoice was put together for a group of women in Haiti. I was doing a Bible Study for them, and as I put together each study going through the Book of Phillippians, songs I had composed came to mind. I decided to record these songs, stripped-down, almost acapella style.
The women in Haiti don’t have many things. I’ve been there with my husband, Leo doing conferences together. I wanted them to sing these songs amongst themselves, encouraged by how I had recorded this music to use their hands or whatever they had for a complement.
