Reaping Life

Jesus told His disciples beforehand that He would be mocked and flogged and crucified. And on the third day, He would be raised to life! (Matthew 20:18-19)

Death is final to us. So often, in the last days before death strikes, horrible pain and terrible suffering accompany. Many, are dying from cancer, an awful disease. My husband, Leo maintains and repairs the machines that treat cancer patients. He sees many who are desperately ill and frail.

Jesus suffered and died. But He was raised to life! He offers eternal life to all who will come to Him, gentle and lowly like a lamb to give them relief from their suffering, hope to those who will believe in Him. Many, supply testimony to this truth. They have received new life in Him. Hope beyond this world. I am one.

“See, we are going up to Jerusalem. And the Son of Man will be delivered over to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death and deliver him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified, and he will be raised on the third day.”

Matthew 20:18-19 ESV
